Got my Mustang 2 piece seat today, mounted it and went for a 40 mile ride. All is well! I posted earlier that I had tried the Saddlemen Explorer and found the gap at the bottom of the rider's pocket pinched me, so it was returned. The Mustang fits better, locates me a half inch closer to the bars and seems to sit about a half inch lower compared to the stock seat. I like the seating position better as I'm not leaning forward as much to reach the handlebars. I'll be heading out on several long trips this summer and will post again when I can comment on 500-600 mile days. More later, Ray Nielsen, in Minneapolis and happy with my new Mustang 2 piece seat. |
