Default johns forward kit with 'zuki case guard?

its the oem engine guards i'm refering to,just wonder if they work in conjuction with the johns forward controls (that i just ordered)thanx again

You need the adapters for the Johns kit forward control if you have the engine guards.

nope. they will not fit without the adapter. I've tried, but there isnt' a way to make it work and not look all sorts of goofy without the adapter.

Or go to http://www.johnskits.com/ and click HB Smalley's Adapters.

They go onto the engine guards.

Hearing a lot of John's forward control kit. I was wanting to add some highway pegs, would these John's pretty much be like highway pegs? Do you just move your original pegs forward a bit for a more comfortable feel? If so, is it still easy to move through the gears and get to your rear brake? Sorry for all the questions but kinda clueless on this.

Do a search, there are many posts on John's Kit. It moves thestock pegs forward and up a little. It is much more comfortable, and there are no issues with braking or shifting.
