    |  Wife's first ride.
I recently got married, and my wife is trying to get me to sell my bike(her father was in a bad accident). I have been trying to explain why I like riding so much. I finally convince her to take a ride. We take a 30 to 45 min ride to my brothers house. No problems on the ride down, but she was tense the whole way. We get back on the back after leaving my brothers house, and she was relaxed and started waving at everyone else. We were going to my dads to pick up my car. He lives off a major highway, and its always a pain to turn in. So I start slowing down to make my turn and the guy in the cage behind me is almost touching my rear fender. I had to make the turn much faster than I would have liked. I scraped a footpeg and would have made the turn fine, but it scared the crap out of my wife and she jerked to the otherside of the bike. Ended up having to jump a curb to keep it on two wheels. If I would have tryed to push the bike back down would have layed it down when we hit the curb. Now the wife is scared to ride again.... Troubles Troubles how to convince her to ride again. |
