Default Working on a new fibrobaffle design

I was asked about the fibrosleeves working in aftermarket pipes that are smaller in diameter than the stock pipes. I was pondering this question at work today as I was working with a patient in the ER when this idea popped into my head. I drew it out real quick on MSPaint so that's why it looks amateurish. This design, I believe, would work well in stock M50/C50 pipes and, in smaller diameter pipes, would work better than the fibrosleeves.

A bolt runs through the center of all the pieces to make one solid unit. The fiberglass sections are about 1" thick. The exhaust flows over the top or open part of the first fiberglass section and then under the bottom of the second fiberglass section. The fiberglass sections would absorb the unwanted higher frequency sounds. The spacer between them would keep the two fiberglass panels about 1" apart. I'm just curious how this would work, how it will sound and how it will effect back pressure and low-end torque. I will try fabricating them next week. I'm going to Gatlinburg tomorrow thru Saturday.
