Default First Post: Debadge/Rebadge and footboard vs. Iso-wing

Hi guys, just got my M50 last weekend and have an idea of a few customizations i would like to make, the first of which is purely utilitarian: getting a heel/toe shifter to use when I go to work. I have a setup that I would like to run by you guys before I do anything.

Three things that I would like to do in this process:
1) Move the assembly forward: I am 6'2" and would like to move the foot controls forward a bit, and found this, taken from: J&P Cycles® Forward Control Relocation Kits. The only issue is that it is stated as working for a C50, not an M50...

2) Install the Toe heel assembly at Onieda: Heel and Toe Shifter VL800 M50 :: Boulevard C50 - Volusia :: Cruisers :: Oneida Suzuki Inc

3) Instead of using a footboard I am considering Kuryakyn Iso-wings:

For whatever it's worth in the final analysis, I have a size 12.5 shoe. I am not completely adverse to getting a footboard, I think I like the look of the wing better though.

Thanks guys, been reading a lot to try and catch up. Do plan on de-badging, just really like the naked look. Has anyone had success re-badging? I got the bike and haven't told my wife yet ('08 M50 yellow/black), and if she (for whatever reason) would say put the badges back on after I tell her about it i want to be able to. Or face the wrath.

Thanks again.
