Default Finally...Pictures of my Bike.

Hey Everybody. I just wanted to first off thank everyone that has helped me out with all of my modifications. I have gotten so many awesome ideas from this forum. I dont know how to put text underneath the individual pictures, so I am just going to run through the list of what I have on here, and what I have done. So far I have the Stebel Nautilus Airhorn. I was never able to make a bracket for it, so it is actually attached to my bike by about six black zipties. They have held onto it pretty well so far. If anyone has an extra bracket for this thing, and are willing to sell it, please let me know.

On the front I have the Memphis Shades Hellcat blue shade windshield. (Thanks Digi) I really love this windshield. I went on one 550 mile trip with it in two days (I have only been riding for about a month and a half, so for me thats a nice sized trip) and it really performed great. I also installed two little fog lights underneath the fork. My first set hit my front fairing, so they are now located somewhere randomly in my backyard. Haha. Thanks again to Digi and I think SNAFU for the help with those.

I put on the Kuri ISO grips. I do like these. I think they are more for looks than anything else. Then again, I did not have too many miles on the bike with the stock grips, but they do look darn nice. As you can see I debadged the bike. The only sticker I have on there is a small Citadel Alumni sticker on the back underneath the luggage rack. I had a hell of a time taking the suzuki sticker off the back, but all the other ones were very easy. I ended up using Goo off and my military ID to take off all the other badges. I do not recomend this. I think it was SNAFU who posted a tutorial on how to do this. I am just hard headed I guess.

I put on the Johns forward control kit. The kit cost about 120 and I had it within a week. The kit is made by a guy named John in GA, and he is incredibly nice. The install was incredibly easy and I wrote john about 3 times when I was waiting for the parts and installing them and he was great about returning Emails. The position of the forward controls really do make a difference. I am about 6'2 by the way.

I changed out the seat to the saddleman Profiler. Thank you Digi for the countless Emails on how the seat fits you in there. I really do like the seat. If I sit really low in the seat it feels like a chopper almost, and if I sit high, or forward it is still very comfortable. I have not done any two up riding because I do not feel I am experienced enough on my own to be taking someone else up there. One of my girlfriends is going to let me drive around the neighborhood this weekend with her on the bike. She has ridden before so I am going to grind my teeth on that. Untill I take a class for two up riding though, I dont want to do too much of it.

On the back I have the OEM luggage rack. I got it off ebay for about 20 bucks, and it is really nice. The look of it fits the bike great. I have the Tourmaster large Slant saddlebags. I am not a fan of these. I bought them a couple weeks ago, and the little metal piece at the front of each zipper has already come off. THey still attach with a little elbow grease, but I am not impressed by the craftsmanship. I have some saddlebag supports that I bought off ebay for 15. They are just black metal, but they do the job.

For the rear I took a dremel and cut off the back section. I installed two LED turn signals underneath the brake light. What do yall think of them? The wires are hidden from view, and I like them. I moved the license plate down to the side and installed a 4 LED white light under the fender to illuminate it. I also installed a strip of red LED lights from oznium under the rear fender to my brake light. When I apply the brakes, it lights up and my entire rear fender, wheel, and the ground around my rear lights up. It really makes a difference at night.

Under the bike I installed three strips of UV (purple) LEDs for night time driving. They look incredibly sharp. I took the relay from the fog lights and connected a low profile switch to the housing on the tank. It looks really streamlined. Well I think that about covers it for my mods. Let me know what you guys think of everything. Oh yeah, I bought the bike on Feb 28 with 1309 miles on it, and it now has 2700. Gotta love Charleston weather. As you can see, I dont have any performance mods done yet, but I will be doing some things with that shortly. I hope everone is having a good day!

PS-Yes, I did paint the radiator cover with some high heat purple. I had a different image on how that would turn out in my head. But I like purple.
