| Alright. I'm officially tired of all the scuff marks that are appearing on the bike's paint job (specifically the tank). I noticed how easily the black '05 gets marked up the first time I tried carrying something home from the grocery store between my legs about 6 months after I bought it. A simple 2-liter bottle of soda in a plastic bag left permanent marks on the rear of the tank that, needless to say, I was very unhappy with. I've been able to partially ignore it since then (several coats of scratch filler wax at all times help), however now I'm putting my foot down. I don't like noticing the smudges, scuffs, and scratches every time I get on my bike. Please understand that I don't abuse the paint job on the bike, or just attach abrasive cargo to the bare paint. Hell, I've wrapped a bath towel around cargo and still had it scuff. It just seems the clear coat is very prone to smudges and scuffs on for my year for some reason. Or maybe just my bike specifically. Who knows? I noticed it on the tank and the rear fender the most (it's especially bad under the pillion seat where the saddlebags rub, but that's to be expected). The rear fender is now nicely covered by the sissy bar and rear cargo rack, but that still leaves the tank. So I'm seriously looking into the tank bra or tank divider to mask the marks and help protect the pain job a little better. I know Suzuki sells a bra specifically for the M50, but what I'm really interested in is a divider. I've seen M50s with them, but I can't find a single manufacturer that sells one made to fit. I was wondering if anyone has a tank divider on his/her M50, and was willing to send me a link to the website where they purchased it from. I would be very grateful. Ride safe

| The factory Suzuki one won't work. It has a cutout for the C50 gas cap on the left side. I run a Hopnel. It is the same for the C50 and M50. Just google Hopnel. It is available from lots of stores. I like it. The pocket is useful for disc lock and cell phone. The material looks cool too. Almost matches the carbon fiber. Pics attached.

| 3M paint protection is the way to go. I have an 05 M50 as well and used it at my last job on service calls. My little leather pouch that I would carry in my lap would scuff the tank. Needless to say it pissed me off as well. ![]() 3M Paint Protection, Parts Accessories, eBay Motors items on eBay.com Check this link and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about. Completely clear and somewhat easy to put on. Just a water/rubbing alcohol solution in a spray bottle, library card or similar and you're good to go. Took me a couple of times to get things measured and cut correctly. So I suggest getting a roll of it. But wow has it saved my bike. I have it on the last 1/3 of the tank and over the sides. The left and ride side covers, and also the rear fender. Here's an instructional video if you're interested. How to install a clear bra to your vehicle I'll try and get some pics later today.

| Here's something you might like...comes with or without studs...with or without pocket to hold small items. The only problem with having a pocket is that it would interfere with a tank bag that you might want to use from time to time. Motorcycle Leather Jackets, Boots, Motorcycle luggage, Accessories |

| A stock OEM Suzuki Tank Bra works for me. The pic in the link is the one for the C50. The M50 one is very similar. https://www.oneidasuzuki.com/store/p...boulevard.html |

| Look at the cutout around the gas cap. The M doesn't have this cap. The Hopnel and the one Mavman has don't have the cutout. Watch for that if you order one.

| Fender Buffer ![]() | I have the carbon-fiber tank bra from Suzuki on my M50Black...see the pic (I'd take a better one but the bike is at my buddy's house in his garage right now!). If nothing else, it shows how the M50 version of the tank bra will fit.

| Heritige Saddlebags worked some up. I put one on my bike. I can't say the look is terrific, but I do like the functionality of the pocket and the protection for the top of the tank. It was also very easy to put on.
