Default Looking for stock pipes

Owned my M50 for about a month now. Went down on my very first ride and scratched the pipes, which are now beginning to rust. Can't afford aftermarket at the moment, so I was hoping one of you guys might have a set of stock pipes taking up space that you'd be willing to let go for cheap. Please find it in your heart to help out a newbie. (Did I mention I needed something cheap?)

Thanks much to all who replied. Struck a deal with Ulfire. Should be set as long as UPS doesn't do me wrong.

Along those same lines, if anyone in the northeast is looking for a set of stockers, let me know...I'd love to get mine out of my shed.

to M-J Jay!

Sorry to hear you dinged up the bike on your first ride. I hope it wasn't too serious. I don't know if this is your first bike but if it is and you haven't taken your MSF course, I would recommend it. Stick around, lots of M50 info. here.

Ride safe.

Ummmm ... I took the MSF course. Unfortunately, I did exactly what they told me not to do. Entered a corner too fast, and my first reaction when I saw the curb heading my way was to brake. Oops. Good news is I'll never make that mistake again. Bad news was skinned knees, sprained ankle, broken foot peg, dinged up headlight trim, scraped pipes. Luckily, I had a full helmet, riding jacket, and gloves, and my beautiful tank was spared. Also had to replace the visor on my helmet, but it was probably the best thing that could've happened to me in the long run. Not nearly so cocky on the bike after that.

Until you get the new pipes on, get some 000 steel wool and rub the scratches gently. Will remove the rust without scratching. Cost: about $2.

Good to hear that you're looking at the accident in a good way...chalking it up to a lesson learned is a good way to go about it.
