Smile Destination Daytona

Just wandering if anyone has been down to Destination Daytona in Ormand Beach Florida? My neighbor and I are planning a trip from North Georgia to Ormand Beach. Has anyone stayed there? or if any members are from around Ormand Beach or Daytona Beach what should we look out for or a manditory thing to do.

Thanks
Paul

Me and the family was there a few months ago while at Daytona Beach. It's a nice site right beside I-95. J&P Cycles has a lot of metric and Harley stuff to look at and Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson store is very nice too. Arlen Ness has a shop there also with lots of custom choppers for sale along with a street rod shop that we didn't have time to check out. There are other businesses at this site that we just didn't have time to check out. If you like good bbq, check out the Daytona Pig Stand which is on site, you can't go wrong.

I've been there a few times as a consumer but not a guest. It seems like a real nice place.

when are you coming down this way? I live in Daytona. I work at Corbin, and we are maybe a mile south of D/D.

well there are quite a few shops at the D/D complex, but the greater majority are places that you may not want to commit all of your time to. For a couple beers and some kick ass hot wings there's Houligans bar and grill that's there though. Outside of that it kind of depends on what your looking to do when you get down here.
