I purchased a set of Cobra Slashcuts for my M50. This will be my first modification. I have heard conflicting reports about.... the bike running just fine, but also heard the bike runs too lean, too hot, and not smooth through the range. I am not opposed to buying the Cobra or TFI (seems the TFI is more broad in its design parameters). Any practical experience you can talk about will be helpful. The new pipes are not yet installed. By the way...I am new here and I searched but did not find anything regarding my particular question. I enjoy the site. First bike in 40 years - I did have a Vespa last year. I am enjoying my 2006 pewter-color M50. I bought it on a lark...with 500 miles on the odometer, and a fresh first Suzuki service. How could I resist? The guy had to sell it. His wife wanted the money back in a big hurry. He could have bolted with the bike. It is now de-badged, and looking very mean. I have only ridden it 150 miles so far. |
