Nice looks are wonderful, long tire life better still.

Guy at work bought blizzacks, and everybody loves the traction, but the mileage is maybe 40 k tops.

As opposed to a standard tire these days, 60 k.

Let us know how they do in the rain and how long they last, Smurf.

That's astounding. Make sure they're recent date codes.

that would bite if you got tires that are nearly dry rotted.

i have the 200 on my bike and a 3 1/2 inch drop with the shock maxed out because i ride 2 up often. the tires clear the fender support barely, cant fit a finger between the support and tire, it doesnt rub a thing

Redjetta How much room do you have between tire and the drive shaft.

That's what I was worried about getting one. If the tire gets a little low on air it might rub on the shaft

i had a 200mm avon on the rear of my bike for 7 or 8k and it did rub the drive shaft. it did no damage other than paint wear. only a very small section rubbed. did it hurt anything, no. would i do it again, no.

Next time you need to take closeup pics like this, look for the 'macro' mode on your camera (the icon is a flower with stem and leaves). It allows you to focus much closer. Try to be in diffused ambient light so you don't need the flash.

i'll try that next time rowdy. my main problem was the lack of room and the awkward position with the tire and frame in the way. thanks for the advice

NO means NO lmao j/k it means having the tire rub the drive shaft didn't hurt anything, but i wouldn't put another one on, because i now know the avon 200 is too wide for our bike.

You look like you have as much room on your bike as I do on my old Yammy.
