Default Need to complain

No real thread, just need a place to vent and I figured you guys would understand. I found out my girlfriend bought me the Johnskit forward control set. The problem...she won't give it to me 'til x-mas. I've tried to reason with her, saying that I could put them on now and get some use out of them, but noooo, there my x-mas gift and she refuses to give them up. She said she'd trade for a wedding ring, but I don't know if that's a fair trade. I may have to resort to drastic measures...

Get her an engagement ring. Just don't set a date.

Take her engagement ring shopping, buy one, take it home and hide it, telling her she won't get hers until you get yours. So there. Nyah!

Buy yourself a set of forward controls. It's much cheaper than a wedding or engagement ring and you won't have to wait.

Get her realy drunk, IME women can't stop talking when they are drunk. She'll show them to you and pass out. By the time she wakes-up they will be on your bike. When she notices them "remind" her she gave them to you just before she passed out... Or get the ring.

Hands up everyone whose wife or girlfriend has bought them a much desired accessory for their bike? Anyone, anyone, Bueller? Bueller?

Heck, give me her number and I'll marry her.

How'd you find out? If she spilled the beans, she owes you an early gift. If it was your fault, suck it up.

Tell her you'll sell the bike to get her a ring and that you'll get more out of it with the kit installed. Install it and ask way too much and tell your soon to be wife that you had good intentions.

Say to her. "If I got you a new vacuum cleaner for Christmas and you wanted to use it right now, I'd have no problem with that."

*Warning* This is just a joke and I will not be held responsible for your death if you, for some reason you have a stupid moment and utter these word.
