Alright, I know we have some Guru's on this forum and I think it's gonna take all of em to figure this one out. Black 05 Boulevard M50: Two days after the 11,000 mile service... I pull the bike out of the garage and try to fire it up. Nothing. I notice that the key was left in the on position, my own d*mn fault.. So I wheel it out into the alley to give her a push start. I've done this procedure once before and all went well. This time proved to be no different, got it going pretty good and it fired right up. So I ride around the block and bring it back in the driveway to let it run for a while. As I put it on the stand I notice a weird noise, hard to describe, but it sounds like it's comming from the tank pannel on top. Sort of an electrical buzzing. Almost sounds like the buzzer bugs that come around in the late summer. Not only that, but it no longer idles correctly, wants to die if I leave it for more than a minute. The oil light and the low fuel light flash simultainously and then the speed-o runs itself up to 120 and back down again, just like on start up, but it does this every two - five seconds. Smells like the fuel is burning really rich. And to top it all off the display screen keeps flashing all sorts of different crap..... This happened about 10 mins ago and I figured I would start on this forum before I go to the wallet...... ANY IDEAS PLEASE HELP  |
