Well I think I have found my problem, back about a month ago I dropped my bike doing more damage than I originally thought. I looked at the headlight this weekend to try to adjust the height and noticed that the left side was pushed in a little bit. I didn't see anything actually broken but I haven't been able to pop the side out as of yet. I might just need to replace it, anyone know of a good vendor for an OEM or a good aftermarket replacement?

Fog light from pep boys, and I added a 100watt bulb. super bright but not as annoying to cars since it is so small.

Bought the bike and waited 45 minutes for them, while they looked for the manual. Didn't have one for some reason. My guess is that the stealer took one along the way, and replaced until I bought the last bike they had.
SO they ordered me one. They have it, but I don't have time to ride there and get it (wife, kid, real job, starting a business, and teaching a college class). I asked them before I left town last week to MAIL it to me. Still no manual. I'm pretty racked over it.

On the the headlight adjust...I mucked with both of those adjustment screws after my first night ride. I guess it's possible that I mis-understood what the dealer said. Maybe it was "We can't adjust it more". I dunno. The adjustment is at it maximum...won't go any higher. I guess I'll have to put the washers on there after all.

Thanks for y'all's help.
I went ahead and replaced it all together (after being pushed off the road by a car at 75 mph {mother F-er didnt stop either}) I have an account with accessories unlimited south from when i used to own a motorcycle shop (own not work at, so i dont know everything about fixing bikes) so if you see anything on their website you like let me know and i will shoot you a cheap price.

GOOD LUCK! RIDE SAFE!

The world of metric cruisers has been ignored for way too long! We need more custom parts!

When i needed to replace mine i checked with the dealer and they wanted i think it was like 500 bucks which was the same as a set of aftermarket pipes. I sugest finding someone in your area that sells aftermarket parts and throw a new healight on it. you can drill a hole in the bracket that your light fits on now and then reuse it for a regular aftermarket headlight. it will save you up to 400 bucks

Silverstar bulbs are carried by most auto parts stores.

I adjusted mine to just to the point that no on-comming cars flash me (well almost none). In fact its so high I have no use-and can't really use- high beam.

I had a similar issue. After turning and turning the adjustment screw with no results, I finally took the headlight out of the housing. Stared at it for a few minutes, drank a beer, then realized I was missing the little plastic "nut" on the end of the height adjustment bolt. Took a quick trip to Lowe's, found some locking nuts the same size for 73 cents, and all is well again.

My dad swears by the silverstars, he's running them in his 'wing. I picked up a kury H4 from cruisercustomizing.com, I think it was on sale when I was buying a throttle boss for like $10. Definitely a huge difference over the stock bulb.
