|  Problem solving hats on pls
M50 - 11 months old, 11500 klms. NO problems since 0. Has TFI unit fitted, modded intake, and debaffled exhaust. All done at 1000 klms During the week, sitting at the lights, FI warning light comes on. Turn off, turn on - forget about it. 2 days later - at lights, idle gets rough, fi light comes on. Today - after 1 hr ride through hills (gentle) FI Light comes on. Now it stays on. Pull cover off FI unit, all lights flashing like they should, solid when supposed to. Disconnect TFI unit - FI light comes on again. straight away. Reconnect TFI unit - Idles for about 10 minutes - then FI light comes back on again when I rev and release. According to workshop manual, there is a 2 pin connector near ECU. Bridge it, and Check codes will tell me the answer. NO 2 PIN CONNECTOR anywhere? Help! Use bike as everyday transport - so want to fix asap. |
