For those of you that know LEXCRUISER on this forum, I bought his M. Having ridden it for a couple weeks now, here are my views of the bike: Styling: I always get comments on how nice it looks. Handling: Being a former Sportbike rider, the M handles very well for a cruiser. Fuel Injection: Starts and runs without an issue. With the FI2000, it is easy to make adjustments. Shaft Drive: Very smooth, and it is great not adjusting a chain every couple weeks. Brakes: Front Disk is good, rear drum is barely does the job. Wish they would have spent a little more on a rear disk. It looks good on the bike, but that's about it. The engine braking does help take up the slack of the rear brake. Seats: I have noticed the stock seats suffer from fading. I noticed the issue on several Ms' when I was shopping around. Coming from sportbikes, the seat still feels plush to me. I am sure that will change, but for now it is fine. Engine: Has plenty of pep for motoring around town and on the freeway. It's no ZX-14, but it is far from a slug. The 2:1 Jardine Lex put on sounds awesome. I was little concerned about getting an M after seeing all the postings as a good first bike. I thought that maybe I made a mistake and would outgrow it in a day. Nope, I love this bike and don't think I could have made a better choice. This is a great forum with lots of good information. |
