|  Modding question - how to wrap forks
Hey folks I sorta feel like a moron asking, but I am a beginner in all this customizing stuff. I was in Canadian Tire and I found these large sheets of "Carbon fibre FX" paper.. its basically a big sheet that has a carbon fibre print and you can use it on surfaces in a car and stuff. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to wrap the front forks in these carbon fibre warp so I tried, and I didnt even think about how to wrap around the other side of the forks.. i tried hard and still couldnt get it down properly with no bubbles and stretch marks and it sucked. I still have a spare sheet, are there any suggestions as to how to apply these type of things?? I promise to post pics if it comes out good!  |
