|  interesting + to dropping the rear end
I have discovered and intersting plus to dropping the back of my M50. The 2.5 in drop changes the geometry of the way you sit on the bike just enough to relax the arms a little more. Prior to being dropped my arms sometimes felt like I was stretching a little, after not so much. It is a miniscule gain but for $35.00 plus time, it is an unexpected +. I guess if you added that to tricks like rotating the handle bars that have been mentioned you can gain those inches to make the ride more relaxing. For what it's worth.
