Default Buying a 2007 M50 Tomorrow, couple questions

Hello and first I'd like to say it's GREAT to be here. This forum is exactly what I need as a resource, since I'm extremely new on riding.

A quick background on me is that my dad rode Harleys for a long time when he was young, and then took about a 22 year break (I am now 22 years old, hint hint) and now that I recently bought a house, my dad is back on a Harley. To make a long story short he has me interested in bikes, and after a LOT of research I have come to the conclusion that the Suzuki Boulevard M50 is the bike for me.

Why is this bike for me? Well I didn't want a sport bike because that's not why I want to ride motorcycles, and I didn't want a big 1100cc+ bike as that (in my opinion) is too much bike for a first-time rider, but yet I wanted a bike that I could be satisfied with for at least a few years while I'm learning to ride.

Above all, I went to a Harley/Suzuki dealer and this bike stuck out a lot. And that says a lot when you're inside a dealership full of mostly Harleys. I loved it from the moment I saw it (its the deep blue) and once I did some research on it through this forum and many other bike sites I've realized this is the one.

(PS: I know the marauder's name changed to the boulevard but I saw more m50 topics in here so I hope I have the right forum.)

Now if you've lasted through this far through the post, I have a couple questions that I've not yet been able to find on the forum search.

1. I have read on the internet somewhere about some people that were having some troubles with vibration while on the interstate above between 45 and 55mph. Here is the link: 2007 Suzuki Boulevard M50 Review - MotorcycleSurvey.com But the main idea is that it's so bad that a different rider commented that he was having the problem too and it prevents him from even using his rearview mirror because it vibrates and distorts the reflection. My question is: Has anyone had this problem? And if so, is there a cure/prevention and more importantly: How much does it cost? I've not noticed anyone on these forums having this problem so I'm not horribly concerned but obviously it is happening to someone.

2. I have seat questions. Does anyone have a clear-cut suggestion for a seat improvement. I would like to be able to (once in a great great while) cruise with my dad up to wisconsin (approx. 3.5 hours) and I keep hearing that the stock seat simply won't cut it for a trip that long. If possible, I'd like to have a seat that I could at least tolerate for 3 hours or so, maybe once or twice a summer.

I'll stop my initial questions here. I'll be picking up the bike tomorrow and watching it sit pretty in my garage because I won't be able to drive it much without my dad's supervision since I'll only have a permit for the next few weeks and then I'll be taking the motorcycle safety class, which I read on here is a good idea.

So looking forward to being a regular contributor of questions and eventually some answers on these forums. Cheers to you all!

Zac

*Edit* Sorry for the book guys... I didn't realize it was this long before.
