Default profiler tattoo installed, other stuff (big pics)

So my profiler came today, and I went with the leather and flamed stitching (the tattoo style). Pics:

This thing looks looooooooow. As well it should. I actually had to move my PCIII box forward a bit so that it wouldn't get squished, the pan is that low. Construction is superior to OEM, by a lot. This thing is really well made, and the leather feels great to the touch.

Flames. The stitching looks really nice, not too over the top at all.

I know someone asked about whether the frame rails peeked out a lot, and they really don't. IN the last pic and this one, you can see they blend real well with the seat structure. You can also see the new iso wings I installed in this shot. I love my switchblades (available, PM me) but I have really wide feet and really long legs, so I needed some more surface area.

Okay...inital impressions...
Frizzy mentioned that his profiler felt "hard". Mine's not. Its a nice squishy feeling, very supportive, but not hard at all. My only thought is that its the difference between the saddlehyde and the leather maybe. Maybe the saddlehyde is wrapped abit tighter, and the leather has some more "give".

Loads of lower back support, and a great seating position. Its definately lower than my oem gel, (which was a good inch lower than stock) and it sits just a tick further back. Sitting on it, I'm real comfy. I'm doing some serious mileage this weekend, so more reports after its broken in. The one thing that suprised the heck out of me, is side by side, the passenger pillion isn't that much narrower than the oem gel pillion. Its not as thick, but its not a whole lot skinnier.

Oh...my wife bought me the candy blue hypercharger insert and butterflies for fathers day, and I got those installed tonight too...
(I looove this shot)

its a little lighter than the blue paint, but its a lot closer than it looks in the pics. I love the color, and I'm actually debating a single pinstripe on the bottom of the tank where the welded seam is to match the new color. Overall, a nice little piece of eye candy. She takes such good care of me.

Looks great. I should have gone with the flames.. I would have to agree with you about the saddlehyde being the reason my seat is harder. It is not soft by any means and feels quite "sturdy". Maybe when the other reviews I read mentioned the gel getting softer the hyde was actually getting softer..

I don't know how much riding you have done with the ISO wings, but they are great. Nice compromise between pegs and floor boards. The only thing I had to do was set them flat instead of at the angle I wanted because at highway speeds my foot kept slipping off.

I like it alot... probably what I will go with. Can I ask you how much you got it for? I've seen them for $270 and that seems like a killer deal.

I ordered it from phatperformanceparts.com, (they're becoming my go to place, the service is stellar) for $270 shipped. Heck, my order went over 300 with the wings, so they threw in a key chain and t-shirt.

I rode in this morning, a quick little 40 miles, and the seat feels flat out great. So far so good, knock on wood.

Oh, and rockhead, for the extra 10 bucks a year, I had to have the plate.

oh, I'm looking for $75 shipped for the switchblades (without ends). They're 100 shipped new, and mine are in great condition, never scraped.

switchblades are sold.

What do you guys think about a stripe matching the lighter blue on the hypercharger, running around the bottom of the tank? (they're close, but not the same, I'm thinking it might be a nice look)

update: I rode for 2 hours last night, basically killed almost a full tank without getting off. (I was out with the boys, and it was a great night for a ride) Hopped off after 2 hours. Hopped. As in I was still reasonably comfortable. With the OEM seat, the OEM gel, even after modification, I've never been able to say that. I did notice that I need to rotate the bars back just a tick, as I'm sitting a little lower, but as far as comfort, color me impressed a ton.

Say, Digitalbroccoli......if ya don't mind, would ya take some pics of the procedure you use in "rotating the bars back" for me/us.....I'm positive I'll have to also after making said purchase.

essentially, all you need to do is loosen the 4 riser bolts, rotate the bars backwards a little bit, then tighten those 4 bolts again. Easy stuff. Of course, depending on how much you rotate the bars, you'd need to realign the stuff that's clamped onto the bars for comfort's sake.

I'll take some pics when I do it.

I had never thought of that! I was thinking aout risers, but this idea might be better. I will be interested in pictures... Before and after for a comparison.

I remember reading something about the proper angle your levers should be in relation to your arms/elbows, but I can't find it now. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Great looking bike Digi,

Good choice with the flames on the seat, and I really like those ISO Wings, may have to invest in those when I get the JonsKits FC's.

Just curious about the performance of your bike. When you put on the Hyper Charger, PCIII, and pipes, did you notice a marked performance improvement? I am looking for a bit more power, especially on the hills, and am considering an INTAKE, FI Controller, and PIPES upgrade for next season.
