what's the big deal about the price? It seems to be in line with what other touring rigs out there...

Honda Goldwing starts at $19950
H-D Electra Glide Classic is $18095
Yamaha Royal Star Venture is $17099
BMW K1200 LT is $21770

These are all starting prices without any additions, and the cheaper ones are more classically styled than this one. I think it's a perfectly normal price really.

It looks SOOOOOO much better in person than on line. I liked the look of it on line but when I saw it in person it was amazing.
People either love it or hate it!

I drove 3 hours to Jacksonville to see Bike in person yesterday!
Bike cant be dropped! It bounces off anti-tip and pops back up.
Amazing! Engineer told me he slapped tank at 85 mph and bike bounced off of
anti tip points and back upright! He's crazy!!

I've seen and sat on both versions of the Victory Vision Tourer. The first time was at Arizona Bike Week sometime back in March and the other time a month later in Laughlin, Nevada. I've liked the bikes since I saw the first pictures, but it looks a lot more normal in real life. The bikes seemed nicely set up and would likely be quite comfy. The only major downfall I saw is unlike all of the other big tourers, the Victory has no means of allowing the rider to put his feet directly below the hips for support. It did have tons of travel forward for your feet if you're into that.

I never noticed that! I guess if it is an issue for people of different heights, there will be something after market for it. The ones I sat on were preproduction bikes, so maybe that is something that will be on production bike.
