Anyone know if the 08 has any changes from the 07? - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I am contemplating a new M50 instead of using my canyon carver to commute. Before I buy one next month though I want to be sure there are no drastic changes between the M50 07 and the M50 08.

The dealer doesn't say much since if they have 07's they want to sell them naturally and I couldn't find anything otherwise.

The local dealer told me they are ordered on 6-28-07 so that 07's will be phased out.

I don't know what Suzuki has planned for the '08's except for the C109 models, but here is a rumor thread which I hope isn't true.

Suzuki has not released any information on the '08 models yet. This info will be given out at the dealer's show, at Las Vega end of June.

I doubt there would be any changes to the M50 other than the colors, as it is one of the newest models in the cruiser line up.

Dealers have not yet been given even the slightest clue as to pricing, availability, or even a projected production start date for the C109, so chances are it will not be in the showrooms with the other '08s. I'm guessing it will me more like mid-year availability. But I guess I'll find out in a couple weeks.
