My C50 was affected by the ignition recall, hell I never got a notice on it. I just called the dealer and had them run the VIN after I found out about it on here.

This is where they get ya, launching little gremlins into the machinery.

This is what I followed when the problem was brought up-(on the forum, like Robert said)....unfortunately, Danr no longer has the pics posted.

Hopefully his write up will help anyone still affected and not fixed yet.

Default Notice from Dealer

I just got my recall notice yesterday. Thankfully, those of us who follow this forum fixed this problem a year ago.

Default Recall Notice

I too received a noticed, called in with my VIN number to learn they would need to order the parts to fix it and would call when they came in. I tried to eyeball where the 'rubbing' is taking place, but feel no need to stop riding for now - Anyone feel it's not safe?

BTW, I dabble in the forum and have absolutely no excuse for not rectifying this way back when......
