 |  Anyone Break a Clutch Cable??
Pulling out of my driveway this am to go on a group ride, the clutch pops and I stall. I go to restart and bike jumps forward but starts. Guess what?? Clutch cable is shredded! I stop by dealer and he says it is wear item NOT covered... I ask for Manager of Dealer and he gives me a story that he can try to call Suzuki and get it straightened out for me BUT I have to pay to have it towed in 25 miles. I told him it was the last time I would be in there for any reason and I was considering a new M109. He continued to say I didnt give him a chance to make it right, which he had no intention of doing. I tried every dealer within 150 miles of me and NOT one had a cable. I finally ordered it from Oneida and hopefully I will be back up within 1 week. Of course I had just put on my new Corbin Dual Tour and didnt even try it. Bike has 5200 Miles on it and is 8 months old. Comments?????? |
