Default Uncomfortable seat?

Did 340km (about 215miles) in 4 hours yesterday without once getting off the bike.

The first 1.5 hours was just fine. The next 1 hour was sheer misery with me moving about a lot (as much as the seat will allow) but the last 1.5 hours was just fine again.

Maybe you have to go through that discomfort zone to get comfotable again.

I went thru the US/Canada Customs in 1 minute without getting off & also gassed up after 260km without getting off.

Old Forge NY in the Adirondacks to Montreal on a beautiful day. No traffic, clear blue skies but a bit nippy. Used my heated vest for the whole 4 hours.

FYI: the M50 behaved beautifully. Most economical & handled the curves with aplomb even tho the rear suspension is set at its softest.

It was loaded up. Large Givi topbox, large Tourmaster saddlebags & a Tourmaster barrel bag on the pillion seat.

I also think it sounds great with the standard exhaust & doesn't offend.
