Default Where to buy oil filter?

Is there an online store that sells oil filters for the M50? Also, what oil are you folks running in your M50's?

Thanks in advance.

Amsoil or K& N filters or Suzuki are available online.

I've got this......I ordered it but haven't installed yet, have a couple oem filters left that I used/will use up, I'll see how much better it is (the one with the nut) come next season.....if not much......

K&N Products Powersports Oil Filters - Suzukis for Suzuki Boulevard M50

.....I'll go back to getting one at the dealer, cause if ya think about it...take "shipping" out of the equation....I'll bet it's the cheaper route to go...at least most of the time.

My dealer told me that Suzuki uses the same filter for all there bikes. If the stock filter is good enough for a "Bussa", it'll work just fine in my "M".

You can save on shipping if you buy a half dozen at a time.

I got couple stock filters from extreme Suzuki on my last order. I think they were four or five bucks compared to thirteen the local dealers charging.

Just changed mine for the 1st time (actually let the 'stealer" do it for the initial service) bought filter at dealership ($16 ouch) think I'll try Oneida Suzuki
next time. By the way used Valvoline 4 cycle 10w40 ($3.19/qt at Autozone), seams to be running much smoother and with less valve clatter than before with whatever the dealer put in it.

Someone did a comparison on oil filters , cut them apart and analysed the way they were built etc. They rated the K& N filter a little above average and not as good as oem. I can get the oem for $12 or the K& N for $18. Think I'll be using OEM although I am considering the amsoil oil and filter combo.

I got my filters from a local pep-boys type store. They didnt have the proper wrench so I had to get a strap type and I'm never doing that again. Got a couple quarts of Mobil-1 synthoil for motorcycles. Its killer.

I only use the Suzuki filter $10 at the dealer.

Here is the link for the Oil filter test. So you can see the differences for yourself.
