Default Corbin Classic Solo Seat

Can anyone tell me if the Corbin Classic Solo seat will work with the back rest that Oneinda sells. The reason I'm asking is I road for 3 hours today I could not feel my feet when I got home. Just looking for a little more comfort. The stock seat won today.

Thanks
Paul

That's the Corbin backrest on their site, the Classic Solo will work with it- it's got the provisions to install a driver backrest built into it.

I have the Classic Solo and Touring Pillion combo, and I LOVE it...SOOOO much better than that stock seat. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with it!

vhmike,
It's CORBIN BACKREST STUDDED OR PLAIN #17894, are there any additional parts that I would need to order? Thanks for your reply.

Thanks,
Paul

As far as I'm aware, the backrest includes the setscrews, and the seat has the backrest mount built-in, so no additional hardware would be necessary.

One thing to be aware of ,the Corbin solo seat will not work with the Suzuki passenger seat. You probably know this but just in case you didn't !

Hey everyone,
Got my Corbin solo seat and back rest today. I mounted the back rest to the seat per instructions. I must have lost my mind. I removed the stock seat, but cannot figure out how to secure the Corbin seat to the bike. Someone please wake me up, I have a headache and the brain just doesn't want to work.

Thanks
Paul

The corbin solo seat should have come with it's own bracket and an acorn nut. When I got mine they were taped on the bottom of the seat.....however the passenger pillion was supposed to come with an adapter and it didn't. For mine I just contacted Corbin directly and they mailed me out the missing adapter, and I know Oneida would have done the same but the Corbin factory was closest.

Don,

Thanks for your reply. I emailed Corbin directly and they sent the mounting hardware to me over night. The saddle and backrest are very comfortable as I tested it out today on a 4.5 ride to Franklin, NC and back home.

I just received a small Corbin backrest for my seat, however single digit temps have kept me from installing/trying it out...though I'm hopeful it will add to the comfort level of the bike!

And I had the same issue direct from Corbin- incorrect bracketry...actually, I got NONE of the proper brackets at first, then didn't get the proper nut for attaching the Touring Pillion...the whole process took over a week and a half to straighten out. At least it got settled.
