Default sticky throttle when cold?

I'm pretty sure my throttle used to snap closed quickly after twisting the throttle and letting go. I gave it a twist last night and this morning...and it felt like one of those old rotary phones. Twist and then there seems to be some friction when it closes.

I did take my tank of this past weekend so I may have pinched something. but...is it possible for the cold to do something.

I rode it recently and didn't notice the sticky throttle before

I doubt it's the cold...although it may be possible.

In all the cold riding I've done...the only thing I've come across working slower is me...the bike always seems fine.

YOu might want to take a look at what's going on under that tank. You may be exactly right about pinching something. It was minus 35 here in northern BC last week and I took a look at here while in the garage and no problem with the throttle....

Ok I found what it was....
I looked under the tank and the rubber boot from the engine to the throttlebody was rubbing up against the throttle spring. Its to dark and cold right now to do anything about it but at least I know whats happenin.
