Here are a few of my M. She's got Volusia/C50 bars, a Custom windscreen, a Drag Specialties Tach, 200 Metzler rear, etc...

Us NC m50 riders should all meet up someday this summer.

Hey Profane! That's a great idea. There's quite a few of us NC Riders on this forum and most seem to be from around the Charlotte-Metro area. I would like to do that maybe soon when we get into the spring, why wait for summer? Any of you Carolina boys out there reading this interested?

I say somewhere in march or april. I don't have the time this month with work and overtime, wife being pregnant and all just makes it even more difficult.

But that would give enough time to plan something and maybe get a few together.

Regarding the day. I could do it usually either sat or sun. Sat, if we don't work I usually have the whole day for whatever. Sundays are a bit more limited but do have a bit of time. Weekdays are alright as well if I get off work at a decent time and everything is kept fairly nearby.

I beleive most are using a picture hosting site like photobucket and using the [img] tag to post in the thread. The only downfall to that is a lot of bigger pictures in a thread will load slower for dial up users although they can always check the option in control panel for those images not to appear so their reading isn't slowed down either.

Are the black wheels an option on the M's? Or is that something you can do as an aftermarket swap...

I think a black M50 with black wheels and chrome rims would look SICK. Just the very rim of the wheel where the tire is as chrome....yummy. Nice looking bikes guys, especially that orange one! I too have a lust for an M50...can't stop coming back to it every time! Soon...very soon...

Black wheels are stock, you could always strip the black off the rim and polish it.

Snafu

How does the drivers back rest feel. Is it easy to take on and off. Does it make the passenger more difficult to get on and off?
