Default Crusier Customizing vs. Oneida Suzuki

For anyone who has ordered from both, who do you like the best? I'm looking to buy some V&H Cruzers and Oneida has them for $306. CC has them for $342 with free shipping. I guess my question is: Is CC worth the little extra that I will have to pay? I have heard some issues with Oneida's packing. But I haven't bought from either yet.

Thanks!

Tim

I have the same pipes. Got them from Oneida with no problems at all. I have ordered things from CC with a little problem. I ordered three things at one time. I had to call them 3 weeks later for the order, they said they were waiting for 1 small part to come in so they could ship everything together. I told them to send what they had ship the rest when it comes in.

I ordered my cruzers through CC, it was slightly cheaper than when I added shipping cost from Oneida at least here to Calif. Anyway, I received them just fine and promptly.
Oneida, no opinion yet.....until I see how well they handle the order for the seat I just purchased.

I ordered my cruzers from Oneida Suzuki. At first I had placed an order for a powercommander, but I cancelled that and replaced it with the order for my cruzers.

I thought they were taking forever to process my order and ship it because I never received a tracking number. The day I planned to call about it, they showed up on my front porch. It only took 6 days for them to get here. They were packaged really well, no scratches or dings.

I recently bought a HJC Sy-Max helmet from Oneida Suzuki.. Lowest price by far, free shipping (on helmets) and received it 2 days later...
BTW great helmet for those that wear glasses.... no more on and off with glasses when you wear a full helmet.. VERY comfortable and well padded inside.

I have ordered from both as well. Both have been successful transactions. If it were me, I would go with the lower price.

that seems unfair without some sort of qualification, or story.

I live about 45 minutes from Oneida, and the guys at the store are always great. Keep in mind their website is different from the business, but I've also had great luck ordering from them too.

Default Oneida Suzuki Sucks

Hello,
Just wanted to say not to buy anything from these losers.
They have no clue how to run a business. We received a present that was purchased from Oneida Suzuki. It was one size too small. There are no descriptions of the sizes on the website, so how would anyone know which size to order? It's an internet business, it's not like I am going to fly all the way to their store to try something on. They refused to exchange although it was never worn, still in the package and still with the tags on! They told us we had to do it within 5 days of purchase, which is totally ridiculous...it was a gift! We even had a copy of the receipt!
Just avoid them at all costs. Other places might be a little bit more expensive, but avoiding the hassle is worth it.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Oneida hayabusasd. I've ordered from them once and everything went O.K.

I just recently enquired about the Carbon Fiber frame cover trim since I did not see it on their website. I got a response the next morning and they put up the part on the website that same day.

i've ordered at least three times from both. twice something went wrong with C.C. once i got two left clear lenses instead of one for each side. but the customer service was great. they just sent me an extra right side lens and let me keep the other one. the other time, when i ordered a windshield, a week went by without them even shipping it. they said the delay was cause they were doing inventory. i ended up canceling the order and getting one locally for more dough.

so far with oneida, everything has come in okay so i don't know about their customer service. but i've never gotten free shipping from them.

you might want to try classiccruiser.com. they are good for me cause they're out of Houston and ship a lot of stuff for free, but i gotta pay sales tax

Never had a problem with Oneida with all the stuff I have bought from them.
My last order (Corbin seat) from them was on Dec 28 and received it 3 days later after a long weekend too!

I ordered some stuff from Oneida and had fast delivery and great pricing. Guess everyone has bad experiences every now and again.

I've ordered from both, and I'd say that the experience was about the same, though shipping from CC was faster. The boxes were in pretty bad shape from both and I was not impressed by the amount of information I received from Oneida.

I'd still order from both again...but I'd keep lookin around too.

Well, Oneida handled my order without a hitch. New seats and replacement tail light arrived just now. Hmmm, wonder how fast I can cook dinner, eat, take out the trash, return a couple customers phone calls so I can mount it........
