Noob enthusiasm - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

So today I'm out discovering the joy and I finally see for the first time someone else on an M50 in my town. I was going straight at the light and this Blue M50 goes by to my left across the intersection while I'm at the red light. About 30
seconds go by and the light changes, but instead of going straight I find myself tearing left at the last second and looking ahead for Blue. I gunned it a little to catch up and I was beginning to think he'd pulled off into a side street when I finally caught up to him. I'm all thrilled about finding another rider who chose this great bike and I pull up and give the guy a big thumbs up. He looks over and does the same. I smile and wave tell him what a great looking bike, (like he can hear) and he brakes and turns his blinker on as I pull by. "Wow how cool" I thought as I pulled hard through the traffic. Then I realized -I'm sure I looked like an idiot pulling next to a complete stranger trying to talk to him in the next lane, how lame...
