 |  Hello to Everyone!
Hi All, I havent ridden in 30 years and took the MSF course 2 weeks ago at Orlando Harley Davidson. I joined a local Bikers Club in my community called the S.O.B 's (Solivita Older Bikers) . I went out yesterday and bought a virtually new 2006 M50 Blue with 154 miles on it. The dealer is about 15 miles from my home and to say the ride home was exhilarating (as well as terrifying) is an understatement. Of course pulling out of dealers lot, I stall the bike and drop it!! No damage done except to my ego and I made the ride home only stalling once. Of course I had on the wrong jacket(full of air), dealer was doing inventory and had nothing in stock that I liked. I went to lunch(in a car) with my wife so I could calm down. After awhile I came home and had to get back on the bike. I drove around my quiet community for about an hour practicing my braking, stopping, starting etc.. That is my current biking history in a nutshell. I am a Manufacturers rep for several companies in the Juvenile Industry and travel the entire state of Florida. I would love to hear anyone elses 1st stories as well as anyone who has any suggestions on accesories, clothing , gloves etc...
