It was over 70 yesterday, a very rare thing for Minnesota in November. I spent every hour of daylight shingling my grandfather's roof. A worthy venture, but a shame I missed out on a ride.

Today, a high of 49.

Rain expected tonight. With the sun out the highs are 47 to 53.
Yesterday the wind was about 15 mph, sure cools you off fast.
Looks like it could be another week with no riding, time to add some stabil.

For this past week, our daytime highs have been in the mid-80's, overnight lows 50-ish. Snow? That's that white stuff that falls from the sky that's kind of like frozen, puffy water, right? Well, actually we've got an 8000+ ft. mountain just north of town, and it usually collects some snow every winter. Sometimes even enough to keep the ski lift up there in business for a couple of months a year.

I was reading in some local weather fact site that Tucson gets 360 days of sunshine a year. I'm not sure, but I believe that's actually more days of sunshine that Seattle has of rain. Of course, about 100 or so of those days here are over 100, often over 110. Hottest I can remember it ever getting here is 117 (about 47 C, if you're used to that measure). Believe me, that's not the time to get stuck in traffic on a motorcycle. If the tires are too narrow, they sink into the asphalt. Makes it hard to get back up to speed, you know... Fall, winter, and spring are much better times for riding around here. Well, night times during the summer are okay - usually cools way down to 90 or so.

58°F?! Damn, that's cold! You can't beat 75°F for lows and 85°F for highs. Thank God I'm in Hawai'i!

60 degrees Fahrenheit (very unusual) in upstate NY today. I went out for almost the whole afternoon. It was a relaxed ride along the old Erie Canal. Beautiful.. -Red

Rainy, cloudy, yuck here this weekend. Just meant I ended up spending money online......cruzers, techlusion, hypercharger, and side mount plate goodies. Would have been a much cheaper weekend out riding.......

No Mav, still bikeless. Hope they'll get here b4 Thanksgiving. You and blackie will be in my thoughts once I get back on two wheels.

With the exception of work clothes, it's been nothing but t-shirts and shorts since I arrived in the islands three weeks ago.

Here's a shot of Waikiki for ya!

John, Mav might be over the hill and settle for a cloudy sky.
I expected to see some young ladies enjoying the sun.

I hope you are getting around and enjoying yourself.
Cats still locked up?

But do me one more favour, NO MORE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS!!!!!

Enjoy
