Apparently the season is over in Ontario. Just put my bike away & cried a river. I then dissided to move real soon. I am not going through this again next year. I want to ride all year. I hate having to drive a car . Only 2 seasons around here, construction & winter.

Temperature out this morning was 40 degree Fahrenheit {= 4.4444444 degree Celsius} with a wind speed of 75 mile/hour (mph) {= 120.700 8 kilometer/hour} driving on the super-slab Interstate 20 staying with the flow of traffic for a WINDCHILL of {or about} 23 degree Fahrenheit {= -5 degree Celsius}.

Used the chart from

http://www.mountwashington.com/weath...hill-chart.png

NO no, my riding season is not over yet!

Well Foxy, you're going to have to move west of the Rockies if you want to stay in the country.

I'm looking for another job, and with that there's a good possibility of having to relocate. Climates are going to be a HUGE factor in any decisions...lol.

I was only able to take a short ride today...it was about 40 degrees...then we started getting flurries.

I parked the bike in the garage and opened a nice bottle of wine. We're just gonna sit here...the wine and I, and have a nice little talk.

Well John, if you want year round riding, you're going to have to be within 200 km's of the coast to be safe. Anything beyond that and there's a greater chance of getting into some white stuff...uhh, snow if I recall correctly.

So you're looking at Vancouver and surrounding burbs. It is getting more expensive by the year to live, but our province is screaming for help. Finding work isn't really an issue. The trades and service industries are actually recruiting from other provinces/ countries. Don't put it off too long though as real estate jumped 25 % last year and it looks as though it'll continue to rise short term. HTH.

Yeah I didn't plan this well....I'm working with an airbrush artist for a custom paint job on the M, and probably having him take the bike at the end of November, early December....should have done it this summer when it was steaming hot! At least he should only need the bike for a week or two...the design sounds cool enough that I can sacrifice the riding time!

What a differnce daylight savings time makes. It feels like a 25 degree ride at 7 am feels warmer than a 40 degree ride a 6 pm. The sun makes a big difference. I'm fighting it, but I think we are getting to the end of riding season in NH. Ill go until the snow flies, but I think that's coming soon. On a more positive note, how early do folks start breaking their bikes out in the spring? I assume we will be able to start getting out in March for some day rides. That's only 4 months away!

Uncle B,

I'm on the run, so I need to be careful with what I keep in my profile. I did update it to say I'm from New Hampshire, but this was also in my post.

I did miss the NH. my falt.
On the profils so many new people seem to over look filling them in and I like to see where everyone is from and what bike they ride those people that use Latitude and Longitude drive me crazy.

The sun came out and the rain is holding off for today and tomorrow.
I got 150 miles in, a few black clouds, a little shower. The wind was blowing and when the sun got behind the clouds it got a little chilly.

6 days without riding was the pits. I stored the bike for 3 months last year.
Riding for pleasure is not enjoyable in the rain.

So I will take these sunny breaks as a gift.
