|  Price vs real value on those little black boxes
Ok, Techlusion is $160, the cobra is $200 and the PCIII is $280. I've got a 2006 M50 with 2k+ miles, stock for now, but jardines/cruizers and a hypercharger are the future plans. I want to get "a little black box" and drill the baffles and airbox for now. I ride on the local street and lots of highway, I don't race but will generally cruise at 85 on the beltway. (when it's moving!) Which box should I be looking at? The Tech and the PCIII seem to be the favs on the forum, but the PCI III seems to be a bit of overkill. I'm not on a track gixxer, I don't subscribe to the philosophy of stick as many track parts as you can in your street ride. The Tech is nicely priced, but looks a bit more involved to install (splices?) The Cobra looks to be plug and pray- no maps? Can anyone shine a light on the real differences in terms of a return on investment? Thanks! |
