| I would stay away from denim jackets. They wear through too fast in a slide. I especially would not like it on my arms. Here are some alternatives from ICON: Strongarm Fate Strongarm 13

Draggin Jeans - Manufacturer of motorcycle clothing, Kevlar lined jeans, jackets and cargo pants. I have the jeans and they don't look any different then normal jeans ,but with kevlar in side ,no hotter then normal jeans and the kevlar keeps you knees alittle warmer from cold wind on winter rides. I like the denim jacket look ,I might get one off them also ,but still want a leather one for longer higher speed hwy riding ,on weekends away. Last edited by Sleddog; 09-21-2006 at 06:46 AM. | |

| I can't find any pictures of it, but it's a black leather on the top and goes just down to the bottom of my shoulder blades, then there's a thick, blue stripe that goes all of the way around me, and then the bottom is white. The sleeves are black, too. The trunk of the jacket, I guess you could say, is split into thirds...the top third is black, middle third is blue, and bottom third is white. The blue matches my blue M50. I've got to do SOMETHING to try to make my bike as fast as the black ones. |

| I just got a Cortech Rider Blues denim jacket. It's great. Very heavy denim, armored in the back, shoulders, elbows and front. Removeable liner. Rode up the flagstaff on Tuesday and didn't use the liner and was still very warm. Great jacket. I also have a leather cruiser type jacket too but for long rides, the Cortech is for me. Lot's of pockets and extremely comfortable.

| I love the look of Icon jackets, just couldn't handle the price. So, in the same way that I buy everything for my bike, I got my new jacket and Kevlar gloves from Ebay. http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel.../EXL-MJ115.jpg http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel...-MJ115BACK.jpg ETA My jacket was $119.00 and that includes shipping from Ebay.

| In Training ![]() | I had to buy the Alpine Star jacket to match my AS gloves. lol. It's the ACR Air Flo. It's supposed to be a summer jacket, but the included liner (in combination with the Arkansas weather) is plenty warm for me! http://www.alpinestars.com/facelift/...black_main.jpg
