Default Monster Baffle Update!

Well, I put a set of Monster Baffles in my V&H Straightshots today and here's the results: Definitely a louder and deeper sound. It almost feels like the ground vibrates when I roll the throttle pretty hard. As for the the horsepower gains they claim to give...I'll have to let you guys know tomorrow. It was raining today. But I am definitely pleased so far. They are pretty close to not having any baffles though....only about a third the size of the original V&H Baffles.

Whats the size on those. I need to modify mine or get different ones since without is just to dang loud.

Could you post pics of those or a link so I could get an idea if they would fit.

Yeah...I plan to get some pics and try to get a sound clip. But I just measured the inside and outside diameter of my pipes...2 1/8 inside and 2 1/4 outside...went to the website and they have tons of sizes listed and just found that size baffle. Here's the website Big City Thunder - Product &%Fit

I got the first one's listed...$79.95 a pair. Just click on order now and it will take you to a page with different sizes.

Ok...a little more info. Not sure if the baffles gave the bike more horsepower...it's so much better with the aftermarket pipes that it would be hard to notice only a few more. But I will say it definitely didn't hurt any. It will still get up and go in a hurry. And the sound...WOW! The pipes are so loud now. As loud as what they are without baffles, but they don't have that hollow sound you get with no baffles...sounds deeper. I'm still working on that sound clip...but I'll try and get a good one soon.
