Scraping is not a great thing IMO, but if you are going to scrap, I would only want something that is meant to give when they hit the ground, like the pegs. Hitting with rigid parts like your pipes, or worse, your lowers, could really cause your bike to bounce out of control. Definately need to firm up that suspension.

Thats one serious bump.I have lowered mine and the only thing I hit my frame with ie the round curve into my driveway with to much speed.

Makes no sense to me, we were moving a bit but I didnt think we were leaning over that far.

I always scrape the pegs.. but they bend, when this hit it was solid, the scratch has left 2 lines nearly 1/16" deep. I may weld 2 plates onto the bottom.

The suspension is high as it can go, so I cant tension it up anymore

If you're already bottoming out your frame now, what do you think is going to happen when you weld another 1/4 or so of steel to it? You've just placed your frame that much closer to the ground.

The answer is to switch to less of a lowering, essentially raising your bike back up some. If you've already maxed out your suspension, you're just an accident waiting to happen.

Again, this is NOT a good thing. I'd hate to read of a thread talking about your crash and subsequent injuries.

Edit: looked back at my post tonight. Still agree with what I said, but hope it didn't come out too harsh or negative. Just worried that you may be setting yourself up for an accident. Ride safe.
