What A Sports Bike We Have!!!!!!!! - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

just wanted to share a few things with everyone. i took the Expert Rider Course (ERC) this weekend. I was the only M50 there to include sports bikes and cruisers. I was the only one there to come out with zero points at the end. this bike handles like its on rails at low speeds. the 24ft box was not even an issue. after the course the instructors let me run the 20ft box used for bikes under 600cc and it was close, but still stayed in the box. the 135deg curve, no problem. and with all of the complaining about the front brake, i stopped from 23mph in 16ft measured at the front tire. that was all low speed stuff. on sunday, i went for a ride with a couple of sport bikes. we have a few roads around here that are pretty twisty. i was taking the curves at 60+ mph and scraping the pegs. the guys on the sport bikes were very impressed by the way the M layed into the corners and hooked up. i feel like i put the M right on the edge of its limitations this weekend and am very pleased with my baby. oh yeah, on friday i turned 10000 miles.
