Smile Just drilled my pipes on the M50

Hey everyone

I just wanted to give a heads up and give my experience regarding the pipe drilling. Step one was to go to home depot, I picked up a 5/16th drill bit and a 1/2" drill bit (Titanium tipped for cutting metal) Step two: Ride to a friends house to borrow his power drill. First I made 4 holes on each pipe with the 5/16th drill bit, immediately after that the bike sounded better. So then we drilled another 4 on each side for a total of 8 holes in each pipe using the 5/16th drill bit. Sounded even better!! so then we go a step further and expanded 4 holes on each side with the 1/2" bit. Not only does it look cool from behind, but the sound is GREAT!! it actually has this amazing GROWL and Roar that ive never heard before out of that bike. I can also swear that the performance somehow is increased, smoother throttle response.. smoother ride. I cant explain it.

Either way, I have to say that my experience with drilled pipes is a positive one, I would recommend it to anyone willing to try and wants to save some bucks. I dont have money for crazy Cobra Pipes or V&H but this certainly has made me happy for now.

PS. I do not hear any back firing from the pipes, it sounds great all the time.
