How do the Jardine tapers sound? Oneida no longer has the slashcuts at the discounted price. I am looking at getting the tapers to get me by until there is more of an offering from exhaust manufactures.

I'm not sure about the tank bra. I was talking about the rear fender bra. Sorry

I think the tapers sound pretty good. A little raspy at idle but I expect they will mellow after I get some more miles on them. Criuising theysound pretty mellow. If you get on the bike a little they get pretty loud, but a light touch on the throttle and they are not too loud.

They are a little louder than I expected, but I like them.

Don't forget to get new exhaust gaskets when you order the pipes.

what do you think?
I think it would look fine on either, it all comes down to personal taste. In the end, after seeing pics of the Hi-Five, I find it has a better fit, more custom than sport. As for the R version, it is even bigger (longer and deeper... no comments pls ) and I think it would look goofy.

Question to all here: Is there more than one version of the Hi-Five? Thunder does not list it for the C50 or M50 so what SKU do I buy for the M50? Actually, the part numbers for the Hi-Five and Thunder adaptor would be appreciated pls.

I bought mine from onedia -- Oneida Suzuki Inc :: Cruisers :: Boulevard C50 - Volusia :: KURYAKYN HI FIVE INHALER VL800 C50 M50 2001-06 BOULEVARD -- and ordered the one for the M50. It came with the thunder adaptor and a Hi-five.

This -- Thunder Mfg Online - Product » 20304A - SUZ M50 – Adaptor Only – Type A -- looks like the adapter I got in the order.

mbgraham2000, did you install the Barons customs handlebar yourself? Did any of the cables have to be replaced because of the longer pullback? How easy was it to reinstall the speedometer on the new bars? And why did you trim 3 inches on both ends? I'm looking for a handlebar that brings the grips closer to me, this could be the one.

Yes, I installed the bar myself. I didn't have to replace any cables, but I did end up running the throttle cables behind the tripletree to allow enough slack when the bar turned full right. The speedometer doesn't really clamp to the bars, it just goes around it, so it was not a problem. I trimmed 3 inches a side to get the bar to fit with the stock cables, otherwise the bar would be too long. I also had to drill two holes in the bar to get the switch boxes to fit.

This bar seems to fit me well, I don't get the shoulder strain I used to with the stock bar.
