Well as usual I'm a few days late seeing your post. Glad to hear you're doing OK too. That's cool about being to play paintball the next day...you sound just as crazy for life as I am.

But yeah...I know that feeling all too well...coming home after an incident & seeing your kid looking up at you. I hug them so tight I'm afraid I'll hurt them.

You did good...you made the best out of a bad situation and you're moving forward. I know several people that have gone out, dropped it & then gave up riding. I'm sure you've seen their ads in the newspaper...Brand New Ninja...has 300 miles & some minor body damage...$2,000...also for sale...riding apparel.

When I read those...it's like reading an obituary column.

The only reason I would have given up the bike is if my wife would have asked me to.(Not told me to) Above everything else I want her to feel secure and if she was scared for me everytime I swung my leg over the bike I couldn't do that to her. Five days post wreck and she is still fine with the whole thing. I hope that continues for a long time.

You have a great attitude about your whole ordeal. You know what's really important in life! Glad to hear you were able to walk away...Metal, plastic, rubber, and leather are replaceable! I can tell it didn't ruin your day.

Thanks for sharing!

You know, I think there's 2 reason's your lucky...first, because your not hurt (thank god) . Second, your outlook...too many guys (and gals) bite it and walk away, living in fear of the next big bounce, you and you're family have it perspective.

You're a strong Cat Snow...good on yuh
