Default New Guy Needing Advice

I am considering adding alot of performance parts to my M50...and doing it in a hurry! I'm about to buy a set of Cobra StreetRod Pipes, a new air intake (probably the Hi-Five thanks to you guys), and the Cobra Fi2000 to manage it all. My first question is...does this sound like a good set-up to you guys and second...can anyone help me with the proper adjustments on the Fi2000? Any help you guys could give would be much appreciated.

Sometimes too much info is worse that too little info. On that note...did you find what you needed?

I'm almost to that confusion point...lol. After talking to a few people I think I've decided to go with the V&H Straightshots rather than the Streetrods. I've been told the straightshots have a deeper sound.

Keep in mind, one was my opinion. It was based on v&h sound clips I heard many months ago compared to my streetrods.

You might touch base with "DANR", one of the clips was his......and if I remember right-(not sure), he swapped his straitshots out because they were too loud.

I'll try to find his sound clip also......

I definitely appreciate the help...loved the sound clips! I email a guy that has straightshots on his M50 and he loves them. After hearing that clip I think I love them too...lol.

Thats just wrong. Why can't Suzuki come out with a pipe that sounds somewhat good, instead of making us all spends tons more money after we buy our bikes.

Suzuki has to pass emission standards, aftermarket pipes don't.
Some states have passed laws making it illegal to change.
I believe Calif. is one.

I wish I could find a before and after clip like those for Cobra Streetrods. Those are the pipes I want to buy. Anyone?

Mavman, don't bother answering you already told me you are recorder impaired.

I like the look of the streetrods also, but I've also heard from a few people that the V & H straightshots have a deeper sound...so I think i'm probably going to go for those. On a positive note....the V&H pipes are less expensive.
