| I'm 6'1" and 175 lbs, what's everyone using for a setting (2006 M50)? The factory 3 seems a bit stiff so I'm going to try 2.

| I set mine to 5 and 7 when loaded for touring (I weigh 93kg). I think the bike handles better with the higher settings, seams more ridged around bumpy corners.

| I think with any bike, the general rule is, the higher the load, or higher the speed, the higher the preload. As the others have stated, if set to low, you can get some funky handeling at higher speeds. |
