Default Advice for new M50 buyer

Hi Everyone! Its been a little while since ive roamed the boards but im back once again to ask for all your collective wisdom.

to keep the story short, I was planning on buying an M50 next summer, mostly because I wanted to wait for a good price and knowing I have a safe place to keep it (I live in an apartment building and the parking is not very private)

Anyway, this is the deal. I was at work on Friday when a buddy of mine who works with me mentioned that one of the people in the building next door has a Black M50 and it "Looks REALLY sweet" so I went next door to our building and I met up with the guy. Apparently he just has the M50 for a little more then a month, he's put 600km's on it and he's already got a sweet set of hard saddle bags and windscreen for his M50. I asked him if he liked it and he said he loved it but he just got a smashing deal through his Suzuki Dealership who offered him a deal on an M109 if he was willing to give up his M50 and put the cost towards the M109.

This is where it gets interesting. He's looking to sell the bike within the next month, private or through his dealership. He said he would consider selling it for $7000!! And thats with only 600kms on it, with saddlebags and windshield. I know ive mentioned to some of you that the CHEAPEST you can possibly get a brand new M50 for in Toronto is about $9000.

So here's the question... Does this seem like the type of deal that is just too good to give up? I wasn't planning on buying this year, but I dont see how I can possibly lose the opportunity to save $2000 and maybe even sell it off next year for a profit or break even. I really want this bike badly but it just seems like an opportunity thats too good to miss. I also have to deal with my parents finding out and freaking out, and my brother and sister getting pissed because I cant find a place to store it (but I have had friends offer their houses or places to store it in the worst case scenario.) It also might help to mention that I have to get my M license test done since my M2 is about to expire, so I need a bike either way!!

So what do you all think?? Get it or just wait??
