Default Modified Stock Seat

Now I have a long distance seat with having shaved down the stock seat and put a thin open cell foam layer on top of the hard stock foam with a new cover. Very comfortable and lower than stock. No more tail bone issues. All for alot less than Corbin. A local upholsterer did it out of his garage who has 30 yrs experience in automotive/boat seats. it was $125.

no, I shaved the seat down, reshaping it and put a thin layer of open cell foam on top which compreses alot, so its about an inch lower. I ended up having my tail bone repositioned away from the back of the seat where there is less foam to more into the center. There is more of a craddle your butt effect with it. If anybody local wants to know who did it, you can PM me.

JPW,
Any chance your local upholsterer would be willing to do this for remote customers? I would be willing to ship my seat.
