Default New M50 rider

I am a new rider that just picked up a used 2005 M50. So far it seems like a great bike. Qick question. Can anyone recommed a good set of boots. I have found a bunch to choose from but am not sure if one brand is better than another.

Thanks

Well, I have a pair of Harley boots that I got last year and they are great. The ones I got are kinda rare though. But they were just as comfortable as my old Doc Martins. And so far after a year of wearing them everyday, They have barely any wear on the soles. Great boots.

Harley boots on a metric bike. Maybe that makes me a wannabe.

This is what I wear. It doesn't need break in and protects my weak ankles very well. Laces can easily be tucked in the boot and never comes out

Congrats on the bike. I do believe youll love it. Regardless if you buy your boots from your local harley shop or Wall Mart, just make sure thayll protect and support your ankels as well as keeping the hide on in case of worst case happenins.

yeah, I got mine from Leatherup.com. I couldn't remember where, I was going to look for the place and post the link.

The ones pictured below is what I got. I haven't seen them anywere else, though I could be wrong in saying that they are somewhat rare like I did.

Very comfortable for me that is. Id by another pair and Id also buy which ever from Leather up. Good prices, fast shipping.

Good luck with the m50. I like it, though it does need some moding. It didn't take long for me to grow tired of a few things. Though eventually all that will be taken care of. All it takes is money, and we know that just grows on trees.

In regards to boots, you will find as many answers as riders almost.
When you get your boots, get ones you will wear.
Something that you can walk in, in comfort.
That way you will wear them when you ride.

Thick soled, tall enough to protect your ankles, leather.

Enjoy the bike and lots of info here.
