If it is for sale, I may have some advise for you, I Just sold that "spare" C50 that I bought a couple of months ago to a Kawi dealer for 5400 and it was basically an out of the crate bike. I stripped off all the bling and sold on E-bay (about 1000 bucks) only payed 5000 for bike so makes a total of 1400 profit . Never titled it to me so didn't have to pay the sales tax.

This is what Im replacing my "Spare" with, Still keeping my C50!

Still do love it bro!

If someone gave me a reasonable offer. I'd sell it though.

Currently, I've got three bikes rotating in my head to buy. My scenarios are like this:

The bikes: Roadliner, M109R, V-Strom (Either size)

Keep the M50, and buy any of the above.

Sell the M50, and buy either the Roadie or the 109.

Keep the M50, buy the Strom. Buy the Roadie or 109 in a year or two (to insure all bugs are worked out, and maximum accessories are available).

Keep the M50, buy the Strom. Sell the M50 in a year or so and buy the Roadie or 109.

Also, within' that time frame either manufacturer may come out with new models on different platforms.

The way it's looking........The Strom has floated to the top. That is an inevitability. I've been looking for a bargain on a used one since the day I took delivery of my M.

I've been perusing some 109 specific sites, and it seems like there is some growing pains on that unit. I've had such a great experience with the M, I am unwilling to go through bringing my bike to the shop all the time or little minor details that were apparently a result of rushing to get the bike out in the public eye.

The Roadliner, I love it, but am waiting for that tech/spec package to be applied in maybe a Warrior-esque unit.....??? I sit on a Roadie, and my mind starts a checklist of things I'd need to replace to suit me, and boy.....the list is long.

By the way ya Bastid......Congrats on the Goose!!!

Adding more fuel to the fire....before I commit to the Strom. I want to check out the following:

Moto Guzzi Breva 1100
Ducati MultiStrada
Buell Ulysses

thanks so much for the response everyone!

Especially for the link about the new tanks.

If the reserve doesnt go too high I may be the owner of it.

Regardless, expect me to have one in the near future and become a regular poster here.
