Default M50 Hardbags

Hello,

I am looking for some Saddlebags for my 06 M50. I have seen this type on ebay and was curious if anyone has installed them on thier m50. And if so, post some pic's. What are you thoughts?

I bought these exact bags for my bike. They are alright, but I decided to go with a set of factory boulevard bags. I have only mounted them once but never used them. If you are interested in them, I'll give you a good deal. They are BRAND NEW. PM me if interested

Hi M50inMI. Which "set of factory boulevard bags" are you referring to? There have been posts complainig that the Suzuki factory bags for the M50 are not available yet.

Hey, I just installed these Cruiseliner Bags on mine, $530 + Brackets (about $99) from Mean Cycles. Really well built, solid, the brackets are very well done. Stock black paint works for the M50 too, matches the black parts. What do you think?

Nice curves, almost matches fender. Are they quick release? Looks good.

on a C50, I'd Love em. But with our ducktail fender, they just clutter up the back end.

Could you post a photo taken directly from the side of your bike so we can see where the bags sit in relation to the rear wheel? The two photos you posted are from angles that make it difficult to tell exactly where the bags are situated in relation to the rear tire.

I don't have a straight up side picture, I'll try and take one. I agree about the rear fender, eventually I'm hoping to have one fabricated that looks more like the m109. That's the only part of this bike I'm not loving anyway, so having the bags there to cover the fender a bit doesn't bother me. I first bought a set of the cheap Mutazu boxes, but they were really poorly made, the mounting brackets didn't fit right without facing a lot of trial and error bending, etc. These work really well with the brackets, quick release from inside the bags. I can definitely recommend them as the best value in hard bags that are out there, unless somebody has other suggestions.

Hey, here's the side pic, if you're interested. I have to say, I think the bags help lessen the jacked up look of the rear fender, but that's just me!

Wow, I don't usually care for hard bags, but those look really nice on the bike. They'd look better on the black M50, but everything looks better on the black! Very nice though.

Thanks for posting the side view of the bike and bags. I also have an '07 Limited Edition. I have some Jumbo Sadleman Slant Cruiser bags that look pretty good on my bike, but I really like the looks of your hard bags. If price weren't an issue I'd like a set of them.

They look excellent, just like they were made for the M50.

Here are a few photos of the Saddlemen Express Slant Jumbo saddlebags on my M50 Limited Edition. You might take note that I did away with the over the seat yoke that comes with the bags and instead I hard mounted them to my bike. If you do a search of my posts you can find a description of how I did this along with some photos showing the installation.

Those don't look as big as my Drifter jumbos. Maybe I have super jumbos, They do fit nice and hold more than enough. Mounted on ghost brackets. Fast on and off.
