hey vhmike73,

i found this on johnskits.com

"If you have "John's" forward controls and would like to mount your Suzi case guards or the Cobra highway bars I have adapter kits for that purpose. They are made of heavy gauge steel and powder coated for looks and durability.
The Suzuki adapter kit is $80 and the Cobra kit is $85. Both come with chrome acorn nuts and lock washers and complete installation instructions. These kits set the bars forward of the radiator and will interfere with drop down turn signals on light bars. They may also interfere with windshield lowers although I made my own lowers and they clear with no problem."

Tim! WOW man. That was the single greatest write up for *ANY* pipe that I've read. I agree w/ every point you've made. Good stuff.
Maybe Jardine will consider hiring you to write some marketing materials for their products!

Good point Mike...completely forgot about that addendum on John's site...doh!

I wonder how that would work out for our bike...and where it would actually put the guards in relation to the new location of the controls? Perhaps I'll have to give them a shot.

For the best sound and power (by far) get the Roadhouse 2 into 1s. I sold my set due to a footpeg interference issue. I then got Jardine 2 into 1s. I would describe the sound as louder, but not a very good quality. When you get on it they are blatty, barky, and too loud. The Roadhouse were deep, pleasing, and not so loud. I've done baffle modifications to help improve the sound quality as well as decrease the sound output somewhat without hurting the power. See at Kodakgallery.com
